The system comes with three handsets; you can transfer calls between handsets, and all three handsets can be off-hook simultaneously. If you need to expand, the base can support up to 12 separate handsets. A built-in digital answering machine system records messages on microchips for reliable performance, instant access to messages, and the ability to selectively save and delete messages. The phone supports caller ID and call waiting. The Speakerphone is built right into the handset, making it more convenient than having to sit by the base as many other Speakerphone systems require.
