sony ericsson equinox1The Sony Ericcson Equinox is the first Sony Ericsson phones that is supported with T-Mobile features since TM506. It has quite similar features with TM506 such as T-Mobile features.

I am impressed with The Sony Ericsson Equinox (T-Mobile)’s design that is sleek and compact with clean lines. Created in a thin flip design, the Equinox mobile phone has an eye catching black skin and a circle motif on the front face while a sturdy hinge and a soft material on the back one.

In the internal display, you will find an impressive 2.2-inch screen that supports for 240×320 pixel with 26,2000 colors. It is bright and vibrant with clear hues and graphics. You are able to customize your Sony Ericsson Equinox’s home screen with myFaves display that and adjust the brightness and the clock size. Unfortunately, the external display is too small as it includes only the time, battery life, signal battery and numeric color ID. You don’t find photo color ID and the date.

On the top of navigation keypad, you get a circular toggle with a central OK button, the left side is Talk and and camera shutter while in the right is End/power and clear buttons.

With the Sony Ericsson Equinox for T-Mobile, you can save up to 1000 contact phone book that has room for 7 phone numbers such as email address, a company name, street address, a URL, a birthday and notes. Featured with a 3.2 megapixel camera, the Equinox has pre-loaded integration application that allow you to make video and upload it to Youtube directly and easily. The photo quality is good with a bright and sharp images as it is supported with 3.2x digital zoom and editing option like three color effect, a night modes, four shutter sounds and a silent option. Unfortunately, this mobile phone’s camera is not supported with camera flash. With a 100MB of internal shared memory, you can only save the video for 1 minute and 15 seconds. However, you can extend the memory with 16GB from external memory slot.

You find playlists, shuffle and repeat modes and equalizer with Sony mega Bass. Moreover, with three options of data transfer process (USB, Bluetooth and memory card), it is easy and simple to transfer music to the phone.

The Sony Ericsson Equinox has Built-in GPS that provides real-time location on maps, driving directions, and more (additional charges for optional software applicable).

For the battery, the Equinox is supported with 920 mAh lithium-ion that is rated up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 384 hours for standby time.
