Review On BlackBerry Bold 9650 Phone

BlackBerry Bold 9650 PhoneThe BlackBerry Bold 9650 is released by RIM for the development of the BlackBerry Tour by adding Wi-Fi and doubling the on-board memory. Besides, the Bold 9650 sports the previous favorite features like the world roaming capabilities and compact Qwerty design and measures the same size as the Tour with a little heavier 4.8 ounces compared with 4.6 ounces.

If you are the Tour’s users, I am sure that you do not need to learn much about the Bold 9650 as it’s very similar in design and function.

Below is the main features of the BlackBerry Bold 9650:

  • On-board Wi-Fi for internet connectivity options, so you do not rely on 3G all the time.
  • Sports a 512 MB on board memory. it is a double memory compared with the Tour’s
  • Support for both CDMA from Sprint’s EV-Do Rev A for local network and automatically switch to GSM bands for international one.
  • Has a speakerphone, voice-activated dialing (over Bluetooth as well), smart dialing, conference calling, speed dial, and text and multimedia messaging
  • Built in bluetooth and GPS
  • Has 3.2 megapixel camera camcorder. The result of pictures are good for outdoors but only average for indoors
  • Ships with several social networking apps (Facebook, MySpace, and Flickr) and Sprint services, such as Sprint Navigation, Sprint Football Live, Sprint TV, and the Sprint Music Store
  • BlackBerry Internet Service offers easy access to up to 10 supported personal and work email accounts and one BlackBerry email account.
  • Supported with 1,380mAh lithium ion battery that is rated up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 13 days of stand by time
  • Supports for MP3, WMA, AAC/AAC+/eAAC+, MIDI, and AMR-NB music files and MPEG4, WMV, and H.263 video codecs

For basic function, the BlackBerry Bold 9650  with Sprint’s services has good call quality although there is still a little noise but not a big problem at all. For internet connectivity, the Bold really offers quick internet access whereas you can watch YouTube videos only few seconds to load without interruption.

    2. this is probably second favorite unlocked blackberry phone right now. easy to use, love the games and keyboard is easy to type on. fits in my pocket great, got one for myself and my wife. we love them. great for facebook and maps and the processor is fast. much better unlocked blackberry than my old javelin. good for my work too email is easy to check and reception is great. got our last couple at gsmallover.com and we love them. 2 thumbs up
