Blackberry Curve 8530 for Verizon Wireless has the similar design with Curve 8520. Compared with its counterpart T-Mobile, the Curve 8530 has more features including the upgrade of 8330 such as next-gen processor, an optical trackpad and dedicated media control as well as Wi-Fi that is not even embedded in Blackberry Tour.
Supported with bluetooth for mono and stereo headset, handsfree kits, audio/video remote, serial port and dial networking, Blackberry Curve 8530 features GPS/A-GPS, 3G, and WiFi to make it easy to navigate and get online wherever you are. As you know from BlackBerry phone, this phone has also come up with messaging as always be their strong point.
Despite the device’s memory of 256MB, the Curve 8530 is equipped with microSD slot that is located behind the battery door. It accommodates up to 16 GB. Only featured with 2 megapixel camera, it does not quite good picture quality especially when taking the picture inside of house. Nevertheless, it has a 5x digital zoom and video recording capabilities.
Featured with CDMA 800/1900; EV-DO, the BlacBerry Curve 8530 has good quality voice with plenty of volume, almost no noice and voice distortion and no dropped call. Supported with 1.150m/Ah, the Curve 8530 can be used continously up to 4.5 hours (talk time) and 10.5 days of standby time.
